1) This book doesn't have a specific story. There is 16 different problems, where the we need to find how many fishes, grapes, birds, ect there is on the page. For example, the first problem consist of finding how many fishes are on the page. The author uses colourful images to make the children have fun with those problems. Additionally, the names used for every problems are very entertaining for young children who need to learn, for example he uses a title like "Snail Parade" and "Large Pizza to Go".

By using different patterns and symmetries, he is teaching them how to organise information together which simplifies counting further. 3) I believe that math should be taught in a fun way and that those books are a perfect way to make children enjoy math. Books that uses stories and illustration to explain a certain theorem, helps people understand its principles further because it is shown in an easy format. Children from a young age should be shown that math isn't a scary subject and I think that literature helps them become more comfortable with the subject. At a young age, my teachers would use literature to explain the theorems and I think that this is why I actually enjoy math today because it made it entertaining !

It's how the author is literally tricking kids into practicing math and making them love it at the same time. Tricks on how to looks at patterns and symmetries would have been very useful when I was younger.
