Math, Myself and I

Hello everyone,
My name is Helene Combes, I am junior in SIS and I am taking this class as my math requirement.
Here are my answers to the questionaire:



Questions:


1     What is your full name? Helene Combes
2    Do you have a nickname that you prefer to go by? No, Helene (pronounced Helen) works very well.
3.     What is your height in inches? I am 160 cm tall, so from my internet conversion I guess that would be 62 inches. I am very bad with non metrics having grown up in France.
4.     What is your age in years? 19
5.     What time do you generally wake up on any given day? Between 5:30 am and 8:30 am.
6.     What is your favorite candy? Chocolate in any form
7.     What is your favorite snack food? Chocolate in any form
8.     Who is your favorite musical artist/band? Lifehouse
9.     Do you have any hobbies/things you like to do for fun? Model UN is my life.
10.  What is your mathematical background? (Not limited to the list below…list other topics if needed)
Growing up in France I did the French baccalaureat with the Literature track but specialized in Math under that section. I don’t know how that translates in the terms used above however I did study statistics, probabilities, proportions, and geometry.
11.  Which mathematical concepts in this class do you think you may struggle with/what are your math weaknesses/fears? Understanding the way Americans approach mathematical principles and concepts.

19.  Is there anything else you would like me to know about you? I am still learning the terms for math in English having only taken one semester of Math in English ( and pretty much failed at that class)
